Situated in the heart of Chonburi province, Wat Photisamphan is a temple with magnificent stucco. It is also a home to Luang Pho Na Lan Ta, a stone Buddha image and Phra Sang Ka Jai which local people pay homage.

The temple was presumed to have been built in the Ayutthaya Period. The location of the temple is believed to be the place where King Taksin halted his army after fleeing from the Burmese force besieging Ayutthaya. There are twin wooden buildings inside the temple.

The college was founded by Phrathep Kittipanyakhun to provide education to Buddhist monks both in a secular and dharma worlds at a tertiary level. The monks are taught to be able to propagate Buddhism domestically and internationally. It is also a place where people can practice meditation. The name of the college was bestowed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The Bottle Art Museum is the first exhibition of Art in the Bottle in Thailand. Peter Bedelais, the artist, inspiringly created over 300 amazing miniature art placed in bottles. The miniatures include tourist attractions and remarkable objects or constructions such as Buddha images, typical Thai houses, windmills and Chinese palaces.

Satchatham Temple is a wooden temple, located by the sea. It was designed by Lek Wiriyapan, the founder of the Ancient City at Samut Prakan Province in 1981. The Temple is entirely built with wood. The beauty of the Temple is elaborated through wood dwellings and woodcarvings. It is considered an exotic and imposing architectural work of art of the century, embellishing with artwork and woodcarvings which reflects the intellect and spirit of the Eastern civilization and art. It also reflects the importance of religion which has helped to uphold the world. The Temple received the award of Outstanding Tourist Attraction from the Tourism Industry Awards in 2008.
How to get there: 206/2 Moo5, Naklua Soi 12, Naklua Rd., Banglamung, Chonburi. on Wong Phra Chan Beach, 3 km from North Pattaya. If you are driving from Naklua Rd., turn into Soi 12 and drive towards the end of the Soi where there is a large entrance towards the Temple on the right.

Baan Sukhawadee or Eden House is a mansion built in 2000 covering the area of 80 rai and 400 metres long along the beach. The house was built in Romanesque architecture painted in pink and light blue. There are European and Asian sculptures inside the mansion and in the garden including standing Buddha image, King Taksin the Great, H.R.H. Prince Abhakorn, Krom Luang Chumporn Khet Udomsak and Goddess of Mercy. The mansion is owned by Dr. Panya Chotethevan,a well-known businessman in food industry in Thailand.

Chaloerm Phra Kiat Park is a small public park covering the area of 15 rai. It was built to commemorate His Majesty the King’s 60th birthday on 5 December 1988. Adorned with flowers, the park was designed for residents to take a rest and relax. It also has a multipurpose plaza and some exercise facilities on the ground. There are small paths for leisurely strolling or jogging along the hill line.
How to get there: The park is located at the foot of Phra Bat Hill (Pattaya Hill), Phratamnak Rd., between South Pattaya and Jomtien Beach.

Wat Khao Phra Bat or Wat Khao Phratamnak is located on Khao Phratamnak. It lies opposite to the viewpoint on the hill. There is a imitation of the Buddha's footprint, Buddha images of the Day and beautiful mondop. The Monument of the Father of modern Thai Navy, Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak is within a short walk.
How to get there: Located on top of Phratamnak Hill, Nongprue, Amphur Banglamung. From Sukhumvit Rd., turn right at the road sign to South Pattaya. Turn left at the first traffic light, continue until reaching a-5-way intersection. Turn left to Phratamnak Rd. and turn right again towards Royal Cliff Beach Garden Resort. Drive uphill to the top of the hill.

Wang Sam Sien is located amongst a verdant surrounding with a panoramic view of Pattaya city. It is a home of a large statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva which is situated in the middle of the pool. The premise also exhibits other sculptures and miniatures of significant and figures in Chinese history.

Within the ground, there are a mondop (pavilion with four gables) with a replica of the Buddha's footprints, a large stupa with the relics of the Lord Buddha and his disciples, Phra Yanaret Vihan as well as international pavilions representing the architecture of several countries. Nearby, there is also a Chinese-style building housing antiques and art objects from China. Various types of meditation courses are available from 6 am. - 6 pm. How to get there: Located 12 km south of Pattaya and 3 km from Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. It can be reached by turning left from Sukhumvit Rd. at km 160 marker.

The Najasathaichue Chinese Temple was built in 1991 on an original area of 200 square wa, by Master Somchai Choeisiri. In 1996, he built a large Chinese temple in honor of His Majesty the King on his 72nd Anniversary. The name, Thep Sathit Phra Kiti Chaloem was given by His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch which means the abode of gods. The 4-storey temple is designed and elaborately decorated with Chinese art and design. There are 2,840 scultures of dragon. In front of the building, the hall of Heaven and Earth, with the 36-metre dragon pole with 9 dragons representing the 9 planets.

How to get there: On Highway No.3134, Moo 4, Ang Sila, Muang, Chonburi. From Sukhumvit Rd., turn right into Ang Sila, go straight before the intersection to the old Ang Sila market. The temple is on the left.
How to get there: 71 Moo 1, Saen Suk, Muang, Pattaya, Chonburi (Approximately 10 km from Chonburi town). From Sukhumvit Rd., turn right at km 104 marker at Galaxy intersection to entrance to Bangsaen. Stay on the right and turn right to the soi and continue about 200 m.
Wat Rajsattha is believed to be founded 155 years ago. An antique head of the Buddha was found in the underground in this area. The 100-year-old bot situated on the ground of the temple has been well-preserved. A new bot which was built later is regarded the biggest temple in the Eastern region. The windonws and the doors were delicately carved and filled with pearl.

The Royal Residences were built in the reign of King Mongkut, Rama IV, under the name of "Asai Sathan - the Residences" used as convalescent home, regarded as the first vacation homes of the country. There are two buildings. The large one is in white and the smaller one is in red. In the following reign, Queen Saovabha had the buildings renovated and named the white building "Maharaj Building" and the red one "Rajini Building". Both buildings were registered by the Fine Arts Department as archeological sites on 14 October 1996.
How to get there: Located next to Ang Sila Fish Market. From Sukhumvit Rd., take the left turn into Ang Sila, the royal residences are on the right.
Khao Sam Muk is a small hill, situated between Ang Sila and Bangsaen Beach. The foot of the hill is also the home of the holy shrine of Chao Mae Sam Muk. It is where the locals visit to commemorate the legend of the lovers who ended their lives tragically after vowing their eternal love for each other in 18th century. The shrine is accessible by mountain road. A spectacular panoramic view can be appreciated on the hilltop as well as the view of the Ang Sila Bay, Laem Thaen Bay and Bang Saen Bay. on a clear day, Ko Sichang and the town of Siracha can also be seen. The spot is one of the best places to watch the sunset. The area is also inhabited by a number of wild monkeys and a beautiful cactus garden.
How to get there: At Sam Muk Hill. From Ang Sila, follow Highway 3134 towards Bangsaen, take the right turn at Bangsaen Sai 1st Rd. for 50 meters. Turn right again to enter the road circling Khao Sam Muk Drive, along the road you will find the entrance to Khao Sam Muk Shrine.

How to get there: Located approximately 100 m from Ang Sila Market. From Sukhumvit Rd., turn left into Ang Sila, going straight to the curve, and turn right before reaching the fish market to reach the market.
Visitors can learn how the farmers breed and nurture oysters and green mussels. The oysters (Saccostrea) are raised in bunches hung under bamboo scaffolds, while the green mussels are attached to poles in the sea. There is a 10-kilometre walking bridge projecting out in the sea.
How to get there: From the km 102 marker on Sukhumvit Rd., turn right at Angsila Junction or the highway 3134, there is rock sculpture. Continue about 1 km, you will find Angsila Community.
Bangsaen Institute of Marine Science as known as as Bangsaen Institute of Marine Science (BIMS) is a part of Burapha University. It has been developed from the aquatic museum and breeding centre to marine science institute and museum thanks to the fund from Japanese government. The museum is divided into 3 parts: Marine Aquarium, Marine Science Museum and Marine Science Laboratories. There are breeding pond, aquarium with a large collection of fish, crustaceans and marine plants, mostly from Thailand. There are also exhibitions of fishery tools in the exhibition hall.

The Three Kingdoms Garden was built in 1995 by Mr. Kiat Srifuangfung. the park is built on 136 rai. The park boasts the distinctive applied Chinese-Thai architecture and landscape architecture. The buildings were constructed based on Chinese Feng Shui. The wooden patio and the delicately painted veranda displays Sam Kok epic. The founding of the park aims to allow people to understand and appreciate Buddhism, Thai and Chinese culture and philosophy.

From Sukhumvit Rd, turn left at Soi Mae La Pla Phao, before central Pattaya, take Soi Pornprapa Nimit or Siam Country Club intersection, continue 13 km. After the Map Prachan Reservoir, go further for 500 m. It is located in the same area as Horse Shoe Point Club.

Located in Ban Maap Yai Lia, Wat Suthawat was established in 1925. The temple consists of the Hall of Phra Si Rattana Trai Yannaphop or Luang Pho To which is highly revered by the locals. The prayer hall features murals illustrating Lord Buddha’s life story as well as the portrait of Phra Khu Wichit Thammasan, the founder of this hall. There are Dharma school for monks and a nursery on the ground of the temple.

Chi Chan is a limestone hill, once used for construction industry. His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, the Supreme Patriarch initiated the world’s largest carved stone Buddha to commemorate the 50th anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession in 1996. The Buddha outline was edged by laser beam, then filled with gold mosaic. The image is 130 metres high. His Majesty granted the name as "Phra Phuttha Maha Wachira Uttamobhas Sassada", meaning "the Buddha with brightness and sublimity". The figure sparkles like the golden halo as the sun shines.
How to get there: Located at Ban Khao Chi Chan, Sattahip, Chonburi. From Sukhumvit Rd. from Bangkok direction, take the left turn at km 160 marker which goes towards Wat Yansangvararam, turn right and continue about 5 km. There is a direction sign indicating a left turn to Wihan Sian. Pass the Winhan Sian, continue 3 km from the there.
How to get there: Docked at Chuk Samet Deep Sea Port. From Sattahip downtown, take Sukhumvit Rd. for about 6 km to the main intersection with the direction sign pointing to the port. Turn right into Highway 3126 and continue 2 km further. Turn right at the intersection and continue 5 km further. the road will lead to the Navy checkpoint. The port lies straight ahead.
