푸켓/수랏타니/크라비에서 카오속 가는 방법
푸켓에서 카오속가는 버스, 카오속에서 푸켓가는 버스는 대략 1시간 마다 버스가 한대 있으며, 푸켓에서는 오후2시에 마지막 버스가 있더. 소요시간은 푸켓에서 4시간, 카오락에서는 2시간이다. (푸켓에서 카오속을 가는 경우, 카오속에서 푸켓을 가는 경우
반드시 카오락의 타쿠파/Takupa에서 20분간 기다려야 하는데, 기다리는 시간을 포함해서 계산했다, 타쿠파에서는 인근에 로컬시장이 있으므로 한번 둘러 보는 것도 좋다). 요금은 푸켓에서 오는 경우 대략 160밧, 수랏타니에서 가는 경우 매시간마다 있으며, 소요시간은 약 2시간 30분이다. 요금은 약 120밧이다.
또한 수랏타니에서 카오속가는 미니버스가 있는데, 이 버스는 오전 7시30분부터 오후 5시 30분까지 있는데 매 시간마다 출발한다.(마지막 버스는 종종 최소되기도 한다).
크라비에서 카오속을 오가는 미니버스는 하루에 한대가 있다. 크라비에서 오전 11시에 출발한다. 크라비 도로변의 여행사들 대부분 취급한다. 카오속에서는 오전 8시 30분에 출발한다. 소요시간은 3시간이다. 요금은 300/350밧이다.
크라비아래 코란타, 코줌, 코피피에서도 카오속을 오갈 수 있는데, 이 경우는 미니버스와 보트를 같이 이용하는 조인티켓이다.
여기에는 카오속/크라비 미니버스가 포함된다. 가격은 코란타, 코줌에서 650/700밧이고, 코피피에서는 550/600밧이다.
방콕에서 비행기를 이용할 경우 가장 가까운 공항은 푸켓공항이 아니라 수랏타니 공항이다. 방콕에서 기차를 타고 이동할 경우에는 방콕 훨람퐁 기차역에서 수랏타니 기차역까지 이동한 후 갈 수 있는데, 남부행 기차는 항상 만원이라 미리 예약할 필요가 있다. 버스를 이용할 경우는 남부버스 터미널(싸이따이마이)에서 야간버스를 타고 수랏타니까지 이동할 수 있다. 버스는 예약할 필요까지는 없다. VIP버스의 경우 방콕 남부버스 터미널에서 카오속 국립공원으로 직행하기도 한다.

입장료는 외국인은 200밧, 학생은 100밧이다, 태국인은 40밧이다.
공원 둘러 보기
공원은 도보로 걸어갈 수 있는 가까운 거리는 대략 2킬로미터, 가장 먼 곳은 20칼로미터이다.
카오속 국립공원 투어 안내
카오속 국립공원 투어들은 대부분 강을 따라 배를 타는 것, 동굴탐사, 카약즐기기, 줄을 이용해서 계곡 건너기등이 포함되어 있다, 주로 유럽인들이 즐긴다. 투어에는 푸켓,피피섬의 투어와 마찬가지로 음료, 음식, 과일, 무료 숙박이 포함되어 있다. 만약 특정음식을 피한다면 가이드에게 미리 정보를 주면 조정을 해주기도 한다.
투어는 대부분 1박2일, 2박3일, 3박 4일투어로 구성되어 있다. 투어가 매우 쉽기 때문에 어린이들도 즐길수 있는 특징이 있다. 투어중에 적어도 1박정도는 카오속 공원내 수상가옥에서 머무르기 때문에 잊을 수 없는 추억을 선사한다.

Day 1 - 공웓도착후 공원메인도로 산책, 엘리트 갬프방문, 카오속 공원에서 카누 즐기기, 산림욕, 새소리 즐기기

Day 3 - 라자브라파 선착장/Rajiabrapa pier에서 약 70킬로미터 떨어진 치우란 호수/Chiew Lan Lake 구경,
수상가옥까지 가는 도중에 환상적인 기암절벽, 멋진 숲을 볼 수 있다. 호수에서는 대나무 뗏목타기나 카약을 즐길 수 있다.
Day 4 - 야생지역에서 머무를 가치가 충분히 있다. 아침에 일어나 해를 보고, 상쾌한 공기를 즐기는 것은
카오속 공원의 멋진기역으로 남는다. 공원에서는 종종 무리를 지어 다니는 원숭이들을 볼 수 있다. 호수에서 수영을 즐기고 휴식을 취하다 다시 롱테일보트를 타고 선착장으로 오면서 카오속 공원 투어를 끝낼 수 있다.

대부부의 게스트하우스들은 자체 레스토랑이 있다. 요리당 가격은 70-100밧이다. 주요리는 태국요리와 서양요리이다. 곳곳에서 태국의 대표적인 과일인 람부탄, 바나나, 롱안, 망고, 망고스틴,파파야 구아바등을 판매 한다. 편의점 또한 갖추어져 있다. 카오속 공원지역의 메인도로에는 몇개의 바가 있다, 칵테일,맥주, 주스등등을 즐길 수 있다.

카오속에서 타지역으로 이동하기
공원입구까지는 대략 2킬로미터의 메인도로가 있는데, 도로상에는 수랏타니로 가는 미니버스들이 있다.
도로변에 보면 버스 스탑/Bus Stop 이라는 간판이 보인다. 이 곳은 푸켓으로 가는 버스를 위한 곳이다.
버스표를 미리 구입할 이유는 없다. 버스 스탑 간판이 있는 곳에서는 매시간마다 버스가 있다.
