The museum displays a large variety of sea shells and fossils, with an emphasis on shells found in Thai waters, which are highly prized by collectors. 조개박물관은 태국바다에 사는 조개들을 중점으로 엄청나게 많은 다양한 바다조개와 화석을 전시하고 있는데 이 것들은 수집가들에게 의해 매우 높게 평가되는 것들이다.

 

Although more like a large shell store, the displays are very interesting as well as beautiful.

비록 거대한 조개가게처럼 보이나 전시되는 것들은 아름다울 뿐만 아니라 매우 흥미진진하다.

 

Among the museums exhibits are many rare or unique specimens, including one of the rarest golden pearls and the only left-handed Noble Volute. 박물관 전시물들 중에는 매우 드문 금진주들중 하나와 하나밖에 없는 좌측손을 가진 노블 볼루트를 포함한 희귀하면서 독특한 많은 견본들이 있다.

 

As its also a shop, you can buy some of these lovely shells which can make nice gifts.

Getting there(가는 방법):

The Phuket Sea Shell Museum is located on Wiset Road opposite the entrance to Evason Phuket Resort & Spa, between Chalong tand Rawai. You can't miss the large wentletrap shell out front. 푸켓 조개박물관은 찰롱과 라와이 비치 지역사이 에바손 리조튼 들어가는 입구 반대편 도로인 위셋도로(Wiset Road)에 위치하고 있다.

 

 

 

 

Admission fee(입장료):

200 Baht per adult. 성인은 200밧
100 Baht per child.어린이는 100밧

Opening times: 08:00 - 19:00, except on national holidays 영업시간은 오전8시부터 오후 7시까지(공휴일은 제외)
