방콕 바이텍은 영어로 BITEC인데 이 것은

방콕 국제 무역 전시 센터의 첫 글자로 이루어진 이름이다.

방콕 무역 전시센터 즉, 바이텍은 1997년 오픈한 이래 수 많은 국제규모의 전시회, 국제회의등을 개최해

아시아에서는 가장 많은 전시회를 여는 무역전시센터중 하나로 인정받고 있다.

 

가는 방법은 지상철,자동차, 버스, 택시등을 이용하는 것인데, 방콕에서는 일반적으로 택시를 주로 이용하며

러시아워 시간에는 지상철역 온눗/on Nut 역에서 내려 택시를 약 4킬로미터정도 타고가면 다다를 수 있다.

2011년까지 방나/Bang-Na 역이 만들어질 계획이므로 방나역이 만들어지면 좀더 쉽게 갈 수 있을 것으로 전망한다.

 

참고로 러시아워시간에 스쿰빗,실롬,시암지역등에서 바이텍을 갈 경우, 스쿰빗 도로는 살인적인 교통체증으로

오랜 시간이 걸릴 가능성이 높으므로 지상철을 타고 온눗역으로 가서 택시를 타는 것을 추천한다.

 대중교통편인 버스도 고려해볼수 있지만 방콕의 지리를 잘 알지 못하면 이용안하는 것이 더 낫다.

The centre is accessible via 3 entrances : 1st and 2nd are along Bangna-Trad Road (km.1) and the 3rd entrance is along "Sukhumvit Road via expressway.   By BTS (Skytrain) - The terminal station (On Nut Station) is only 4 km.   away from BITEC. - Bang-Na Station will be completed in late 2011. For   convenience, BITEC has invested in the infrastructure   of elevated walkway directly to the venue.   By Car - 15 minutes drive from the Suvarnabhumi International   airport - Directly linked by the expressway to Centre Business   District (10 km.) - Links the Outer Ring Road to extended every other   part of Bangkok to avoid traffic jam in rush hours,   which away from BITEC 7 km.   By Bus - Entrance 1 and 2 can be reached by bus: Number   38, 46, 46A, 48, 132, 133, 139, 180, 552, 552A   which arrived along Bangna-Trad Road (km.1) - Entrance 3 can be reached by bus: number 2, 23,   45, 102, 116, 142, 507, 508, 511, 513, 536, 544,   552A which arrived along Sukumvit Road.   Taxi For your convenience and comfort, Taxi service will be available for your pre-bookings at Business Centre. The Taxi stand is also available by drop off area in front of EH 101.
