Siam Paragon:

Siam Paragon is an upscale shopping mall and one of the biggest shopping complexes in Asia. Besides the huge Paragon Shopping Department Store are a large variety of retail shops selling luxury brands such as Chanel, Dior , Jimmy Choo, as well as electronic items, audio equipment and exotic supercars (Ferrari!). The mall also houses a multiplex movie theater, exhibition hall, Thai Art Gallery, opera concert hall, bowling alley, a Gourmet market and several restaurants and the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia, the Siam Ocean World.

Central World:

Central World is the largest lifestyle shopping complex in Southeast Asia and you can expect a lot. With 550,000 sqm of shopping mall you can shop until you drop. In the Central World Complex are three main department stores and thousands of retail shops, where you can find just about everything. For entertainment the complex offers SF World cinema, Centerpoint with game zones and entertainment venues and bowling alleys. Central World is not only shopping, the complex includes as well a hotel and an office tower.

The Emporium Bangkok:

The Emporium is a 7 floor up-market shopping mall selling everything that you need, ranging from fashion to food. The first three floors of the building belong solely to fashion and clothes. You find world-class brand names, hot international designer items, jewellery, a huge book store, upscale restaurants, as well as a food court, multiplex cinema, CD Warehouse and the Emporium Department store with a large selection of woman shoes. Tip: the expansive seating area in the food court offers sweeping views of Bangkok.

MBK ( Mahboonkrong):

MBK shopping mall stretches over 7 floors packed with fashion outlets covering everything from outsized clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories and famous name brands. It is important to take a closer look, because of the bargain prices many items are often copy products or from questionable origin. There is an entire floor dedicated to electronic gadgetry. MBK is hectic and busy on the weekends, when half Bangkok seems to coverage here. on the top floor is an entertainment complex with cinemas, karaoke boats, bowling lanes and an area for computer games.

Panthip Plaza:

The best place to go for any type of computer shopping is the multi-storey Panthip Plaza. It is a mall selling computers, hard- and software, cameras, phones, electronic equipment and accessories. The Plaza doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is a technology wonderland. Panthip is famous for the huge amount of pirate software and DVD's available. Prices are very cheap and the range is extensive, but not all the vendors speak English. Food is available at a small food court and several food stalls.

Opening hours: daily, 10:00 am - 08:30 pm (Tip: the vendors open and close their shop at different times, so don't come to early in the morning or shortly before closing time.)



 

 

Siam Center/Siam Discovery:

Siam Center was one of the first shopping malls in Thailand. It has 4 floors with about 300 shops, 20 restaurants and a spacious food court. Connected to Siam Center is the more modern Siam Discovery. Both malls sell anything from fashion to furniture. It is a favourite hangout place for the local youth. At Siam Discovery every floor has its own theme. on the top level you have plenty of entertainment venues like cinemas, bowling and karaoke center.

Platinum Mall:

Platinum opened its doors in 2006 and is a mall, which caters especially to wholesale clothing and accessories. The prices are lower than in most shops around Bangkok. The mall has six floors with about 1300 small outlet shops, most of them selling women's clothing. If you buy three items and up you get the wholesale price, which is about 30% lower than the original price. Tip: women's sizes tend to run very small, but it is a great place for accessories like costume jewellery. on the top floor you find a food court and restaurant chains and on the lowest level are some coffee shops.

Amarin Plaza:

Amarin Plaza is a shopping mall located in the heart of Bangkok's Ratchaprasong shopping district. The Plaza offers high-end shops on five floors offering brand name fashion, furniture, electronics, home decor, Thai crafts and more. There is a Spa to relax and unwind from excessive shopping and a few upscale restaurants. Amarin Plaza is linked to Erawan Bangkok via skybridge.

Erawan Bangkok:

Erawan Bangkok is an upscale boutique mall and has direct access to the famous Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. In the five-storey complex you find a selection of the most exclusive lifestyle brands and designer shops. The eateries at the Erawan Bangkok offer fine cuisine for a posh clientele.

Gaysorn Bangkok:

Gaysorn is a luxurious shopping mall with marble and an contemporary design, which gives you a very exclusive shopping experience. The Plaza is well known for its international high-end designer brands such as Dior, Gucci, Vuitton, Boss and many more as well for its popular fashion from Thai designers. In more than 100 shops Gaysorn Plaza houses a large variety of fashion, branded fashion accessories, upscale home decor and furniture and famous Bangkok jewellers. Experience up-market dining from stylish cafes to luxurious restaurants.

Union Mall Bangkok:

Union Shopping Mall is located in the north of Bangkok at the Lat Phrao junction and in the same area as the famous Chatuchak Weekend market. For people, who find the weekend market to hot and crowed this air-conditioned mall is the place to shop. on eight floors the mall houses around 1240 booths and shops. There is an international food court and some well known western fast food chains, as well as a fitness centre, a supermarket and tutorial schools. The open-air market just outside Union Mall is also worth a look. You can find nice clothing for cheap prices.

Peninsula Plaza:

Peninsula Plaza is an exclusive shopping centre located between the Four Seasons Hotel and the Erawan mall. Besides many upscale fashion shops you find Swarovski crystal, sheer fabrics, diamonds, antiques, silverware and more. There is an art gallery, displaying contemporary Thai paintings, a Dance Academy and various eateries and cafes throughout the Plaza.

All Seasons Place:

All Seasons Place is a modern and luxurious residential and hotel complex, which also houses a shopping centre. The high-end shopping complex is spread over three floors and has a good retail mix with department stores, clothing boutiques, tailors, art shops, antique shops, jewellery, sporting products, book stores, a Spa and health clinic and more. A large variety of cafes, restaurant and food courts take care of the little hunger in-between.

The Esplanade:

The Esplanade is an entertainment centre with a shopping mall, which opened in 2006. The 7 floor complex has a retail space of more than 100,000 sqm with fashionable lifestyle stores. The mall houses a 12 theatre Cineplex, a music academy, an ice skating ring, Blu-O Rhythm & Bowl ( combines karaoke and bowling for more fun), various restaurants and cafes and several health and wellness outlets.

Seacon Square:

The Seacon Square entertainment centre opened in 1994 and is one of the biggest malls in Southeast Asia. There are hundreds of shops and outlets selling clothing, Thai crafts, souvenirs, books, furniture and more. The mall has lots to offer when it comes to entertainment. There is a 38-lane bowling alley, a rollerblading ring, mini golf,  an amusement park, a 14 theatre multiplex cinema and a motion "simulator" theatre.
